KEY INGREDIENTS

  • Glycolic Acid – An AHA with a small molecular size that provides effective surface exfoliation, supports cellular renewal and helps improve skin texture, pigmentation and visible signs of ageing.
  • Lactic Acid – An AHA that provides exfoliation while supporting hydration, helping improve dullness, uneven tone and skin texture.
  • Mandelic Acid – An AHA with a larger molecular structure that provides more gradual exfoliation and is commonly used to address uneven tone, congestion and textural concerns.
  • Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) – A professional chemical peeling agent that contributes to the resurfacing action of the formulation and supports improvement in visible pigmentation and textural irregularities.
  • Salicylic Acid – A beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that helps exfoliate within oily and congested areas, making it particularly useful for acne-prone, oily and problematic skin.

Peel pH: 3

SUITABLE FOR

Particularly suited to appropriately assessed clients presenting with:

  • Environmentally and sun-damaged skin
  • Dull or uneven complexion
  • Hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone
  • Melasma
  • Fine lines and visible signs of ageing
  • Rough or uneven skin texture
  • Acne-prone and congested skin
  • Post-acne marks
  • Appropriate superficial scarring
  • Problematic skin requiring professional resurfacing

Sensitive, dry or reactive skin requires additional caution. Professional judgement, skin condition, treatment history and Fitzpatrick skin type should be considered before treatment.

For clients whose skin is not suitable for chemical peeling, a gentler professional exfoliation treatment such as the Pharma PH Skin Professional Enzyme Peel may be more appropriate.

EXPECTED POST-TREATMENT RESPONSE

This peel is intended as a controlled professional resurfacing treatment and significant visible peeling is not necessarily expected. Skin may feel slightly drier or appear mildly flaky during the days following treatment as surface renewal occurs.

Clients should follow the prescribed Pharma PH Skin post-treatment homecare programme and avoid attempting to manually remove flaking skin.

Ingredients

Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Mandelic Acid, Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA), Salicylic Acid.

How to use

For professional use only. A full consultation, skin assessment and contraindication screening must be completed before treatment.

Thoroughly cleanse the treatment area and prepare the skin with Pharma PH Skin Professional Pre-Peel Preparation Solution according to protocol. Ensure the skin is completely dry before applying the peel.

Dispense a small amount of peel solution into a clean glass treatment dish. Using an appropriate professional peel brush, apply a thin, controlled and even layer over the treatment area, carefully avoiding the eyes, lips, nostrils and other sensitive areas.

For initial treatments, do not exceed 2–3 minutes and continuously observe the client's skin response throughout treatment.

Do not rinse the active peel with water before neutralising.

At the end of the treatment time, thoroughly neutralise using Pharma PH Skin Professional Post-Peel Neutraliser according to protocol. Repeat neutralisation if required to ensure the peel has been completely neutralised.

Complete the treatment with the appropriate soothing, recovery, moisturising and sun-protection products according to the Pharma PH Skin professional peel protocol.

Treatment time may be adjusted progressively only according to professional assessment, client tolerance and treatment history, up to the maximum specified treatment time of 10 minutes.

Treatments may generally be performed at 4–6 week intervals, subject to individual skin assessment and recovery.

Skin Type

Suitability should be determined according to the client's skin condition and the professional treatment being performed.

Complete a thorough consultation and contraindication assessment before every treatment.
Avoid use on broken, infected, actively inflamed, severely irritated or otherwise compromised skin.

Mild tingling, warmth or stinging may occur; however, significant pain, intense burning, unexpected whitening/frosting or an excessive skin reaction requires immediate professional assessment and appropriate termination of the peel.
Do not exceed the prescribed treatment time.
Do not rinse with water before appropriate neutralisation.
Exercise particular care around the creases of the nose and other areas where product may accumulate.
Use additional caution on sensitive, dry or reactive skin.
