DESCRIPTION

The Professional IPL Machine is a versatile Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) system designed for selected professional hair-reduction, pigmentation and skin-rejuvenation treatments. This matches the positioning in your current professional machine range.

Unlike a laser, which uses a specific wavelength, IPL delivers broad-spectrum pulses of light. Selected wavelengths of this light can be absorbed by targets such as melanin and haemoglobin, allowing the technology to be used across several aesthetic applications.

The machine is supplied with separate HR and VR treatment handles, giving the professional a multifunctional platform rather than a hair-removal-only system.

Cautions

For professional use only.
Must only be operated by appropriately trained professionals and within the practitioner's applicable scope of practice.
Complete a full consultation and contraindication assessment before treatment.
Appropriate IPL protective eyewear is mandatory for the client and practitioner.
Never direct IPL energy towards the eyes.
Do not treat the eyelids or immediately surrounding eye area.
Do not treat directly over tattoos or permanent makeup unless specifically permitted by the applicable professional protocol.
Do not treat active infections, open wounds or significantly compromised skin.
Recent sun exposure, tanning and use of self-tanning products must be assessed before treatment.
Photosensitising medications and products must be identified during consultation.
Extra caution is required when treating darker skin tones because increased epidermal melanin can increase the risk of adverse reactions.
Treatment settings must be selected according to the client's skin type, indication and treatment area.
Possible temporary reactions include redness, warmth, mild swelling and temporary darkening of treated pigmentation.
Incorrect treatment parameters can increase the risk of burns, blistering, hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation.
Suspicious or undiagnosed pigmented lesions should not simply be treated cosmetically; appropriate medical assessment should be sought.
Treatment outcomes vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.
Follow all professional IPL safety, operating, hygiene and maintenance protocols.
